Sail Camp

 

Our summer camps teach youth the basics of sailing small dinghies in a supportive environment. Through our camps, kids can progress from no sailing experience to confidently and independently operating their own vehicle within weeks!

Who We Are

Gig Harbor Junior Sailing is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to providing a safe, fun and educational environment for youth. Our programs develop local sailors at all skill levels and challenge them to achieve confidence and independence on the water.

Race Team

 

We support a robust race program throughout the summer, fall, and spring each year. Our sailors compete in Club 420's, Lasers, FJ's, and Optimists at a regional and national level. Programs range from entry level to competitive. If your sailor is interested in racing, we have a program for you!

What is Next?

We are thrilled with our progress and momentum since 2010, and excited for the future. 

We are looking forward to pursuing a waterfront facility to call home, supporting more underserved youth in our community through our scholarship program, and strengthening our program, staff, and race teams.
