We are the Narrows Race Team!

The Narrows Race Team is where advanced campers go to take their sailing to the next level and explore the world of sailboat racing.

Gig Harbor Junior Sailing and the Tacoma Yacht Club partner to offer opportunities for sailors of ages 8-18 to bring their sailing, confidence, independence, and leadership skills to new heights. This team-oriented atmosphere encourages sailors to grow both through cooperation in a sports team setting, as well as through competition at regattas.

Our Narrows Race Team sailors practice & compete through Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons, building strong sailing habits in Gig Harbor and testing their mettle in regattas all over Western Washington and Northern Oregon.
